Post image for Places I Have Lived – Introduction

When I completed graduate school and was starting my career, someone asked if I ever planned on moving.  My reply was “No”.  Over the previous three years, I had lived in three locations, eight apartments, and had seven different roommates.  Although there is a sense of adventure in moving and getting to know different people, I was ready to stay in one place as long as possible.  However, opportunities presented themselves, and within six years, I was moving, again.  Although a hassle at times, moving, meeting new people, and adapting to new areas became one of the things that interest me.  Below I have listed locations where I have lived for three months or more.  As I created this list, I thought it would be interesting to write a series of posts on each location including why I moved there, some interesting facts and other information before I forget.  Therefore, over the next few months, I hope to make it through the list.  Maybe one per month.   The list begins with my hometown, and ends with our current home.   Within that time, I assume there will be no additional moves!?
