Empty Nest in less than 24 hours!  Ian is headed to Wilmington to join John Thomas at UNCW.  Busy packing at the moment.

Ian, Sinclair & John Thomas

This is a follow-up to a previous post.  The earlier post included a picture of the “kids” and our Westie, Sinclair.  There are some obvious differences in this photo and the one in the earlier post.  The previous picture was taken in 1997.  I thought then it was more difficult to get them to sit still for a photograph.  Not much difference in 2009!  Even Sinclair would not cooperate!  One final note.  This picture is a little out of focus.  The reason?  I just got new glasses with “progressive” lenses.  Finding the focal point is a bit more difficult than in 1997.

As a kid, I always went deer hunting with my father a few days after Christmas.  The picture above is our “lodge” that we shared with a few others. I am pictured to the right of the photo. This “Deer Camp” was located just north of Vicksburg, MS, on the Mississippi River. It was the “Steele Bayou Hunting and Fishing Club.”

Sinclair is the only family member to pose for a picture.  Maybe I will get everyone else later.

This is John Thomas, Ian, and Sinclair during Christmas 1997 when we were living in Champaign, Illinois.  My goal this week is to try to get all three to pose in a similar fashion for Christmas 2009!  This picture was scanned from a color photograph.
