I was taking an early morning walk on Good Friday in the village of Hochst, near Frankfurt.  I forgot my camera, but had an iphone and was taking pictures of gardens and flower boxes.  Just as my battery was running out, I was able to get this image.  More images to follow once I get time to organize.

I was looking at some of my photographs that were not exactly great quality.  I had one that looked interesting, but really needed some work.  I just saw the movie Everybody’s Fine on a flight a few weeks ago.  So when I saw this photograph, it inspired me to try and be a little creative and make something of it.  If you have seen the movie, you will understand the photograph.

Returned home from Miami last night.  Despite hours of meetings, I had time early in the morning to walk out to the beach and get some shots at sunrise.  It was a nice break from the cold rain here at home.

I am in Miami this week. This is an experiment in using my iPhone to remotely upload this post. This photo of my hotel was taken with an iPhone as well, and was processed using the Photoshop App for iPhone.  The quality is of course somewhat low, but an interesting vintage effect.  I will now hit “save” and see how it turns out!
